1996 1st Tiger patch ever

This was the first patch and card the Cub Scouts gave to the new Tiger Cubs back in the 1990's. I found this gem on ebay and with little time left, you could buy this vintage item for forty nine cents. Shame people don't know what gems they have. :)

I noticed these small plaque boxes so I wanted to post them. Then I noticed that the plaques were laying next to each box. The author says on plaque is the " A Cub Scout is Square" , and the other is a composition plaque of The "Cub Scout Promise".

Post Ceral Sugar Crisp ad

The Bears on the cover of the box seem to *not* be Cub Scout bears rather just bears cubs. The interest of this is that the ceral offers Scouting equipment as a mail in and I thought that was pretty cool.
